ISOLS 2026 – Insights and Hands-On Experience in Vienna

The 23rd International Society of Limb Salvage (ISOLS) Meeting brought together international experts in musculoskeletal oncology at Messe Wien from September 23–26, 2026. As a distribution partner of IlluminOss Medical, we were pleased to showcase the innovative photodynamic bone stabilization technology and engage in valuable discussions with professionals from around the world. A particular highlight was the hands-on workshop on September 25, titled “The Use of Photodynamic Minimally Invasive Implants in MSK Oncology.” Led by Assoc.-Prof. Priv.-Doz. Dr. Philipp Funovics, MSc, and Santiago A. Lozano-Calderon, MD, PhD, the session combined expert insights with practical experience, allowing participants to explore the technology firsthand. We look back on four inspiring days of professional exchange, new perspectives, and valuable connections.
