Calcaneus Locking Plate (CALmi)
Lower Extremity
Plates
The ITS. Anterolateral Calcaneus Locking Plate is a reliable osteosynthesis system designed for treating a variety of calcaneus fractures.
A special feature of this system is the freely selectable hole configuration, which makes it possible to choose locking or non-locking screws for each hole (except compression and oblong holes). With an angle selection of +/- 15°, the system offers particular versatility, especially for complex fractures.
Features
Calcaneus Locking Plate (CALmi)
- Multi-directional Locking
- Anatomical plate design
- Short plate version located directly under the subtalar joint (small and large)
- Long plate version located directly under the subtalar joint with an extension to posterior tubercle (small and large)
- Plate insertion through a sinus tarsi incision
- K-Wire holes for temporary fixation
- Multiple fixation possibilities for the subcondral support of the anterior, middle and posterior articular surfaces
- For minimally invasive access in complex calcaneal fractures
- Multiple proximal plate holes to gain proper fixation in the sustentaculum tali
- 4 plate version for the left and the right calcaneus
Calcaneus Distraktor & Heel Press
Specifically designed for the precise repositioning and fixation of calcaneus fractures, ITS. offers the Calcaneus Distractor & Heel Press, which provides an efficient method to ensure intraoperative stability and optimize anatomical reconstruction.
Features:
- Precise repositioning
- Variable pressure regulation
- Multifunctional use (open and closed repositioning)
Plate Technology. ONE Technology for all Implants.
All ITS. plates are made from Titanium Grade 2, whereas the screws are made of a harder titanium alloy. This allows the plates to have only non-threaded holes, which all (with the exception of oblong holes) accept both non-locking and locking screws.
