Distal Ulna Locking Plate (DUL)
Plates
Upper Extremity
The ITS. Distal Ulna Locking Plate System is designed for secure fixation with locking screws and can be easily contoured to fit the distal ulna. Positioned palmarly, the plate is naturally covered by the surrounding musculature, often eliminating the need for metal removal.
Locking screws stabilize the ulnar head while the plate configuration supports the transition to the neck area. Using locking screws in the proximal section enhances overall rigidity, ensuring robust and reliable fixation.
Features
Distal Ulna Locking Plate System
- Anatomical plate design
- K-Wire holes for preliminary plate fixation
- Oblong hole for optimal positioning and adjustment of ulna length
- Pointed proximal plate end for percutaneous insertion
- 5 distal plate holes for optimal reconstruction of the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ)
- Available in L & R / standard & small and in various lengths
Plate Technology. ONE Technology for all Implants.
All ITS. plates are made from Titanium Grade 2, whereas the screws are made of a harder titanium alloy. This allows the plates to have only non-threaded holes, which all (with the exception of oblong holes) accept both non-locking and locking screws.
