Ulna Osteotomy II (UOL II)
Plates
Upper Extremity
The ITS. Ulna Osteotomy Locking Plate II offers an advanced plating system designed to meet the anatomical and biomechanical needs of distal ulna shortening osteotomies. Equipped with both locking and compression screws, this system provides optimal stabilization and precision during surgery.
This all-in-one solution features a unique plane-parallel cross-section, enabling a rotationally stable shortening process with the option for compression. By simplifying the setup, it standardizes multiple surgical steps, improving the consistency and quality of the procedure, and ensuring reliable outcomes.
Features
Ulna Osteotomy II (UOL II)
- Anatomical plate design
- Three holes distal of the osteotomy
- 30% less components for easier handling
- Central compression via the plate axis facilitates the joining of the osteotomy surfaces
- Fixation of the osteotomy by a screw perpendicular to the cutting surface
- Transection aligned proximally for better compression of the distal and proximal osteotomy parts
- Correction of ulnar position relative to the Surgical Technique – unaffected other side up to a maximum of 8mm in one step.
Plate Technology. ONE Technology for all Implants.
All ITS. plates are made from Titanium Grade 2, whereas the screws are made of a harder titanium alloy. This allows the plates to have only non-threaded holes, which all (with the exception of oblong holes) accept both non-locking and locking screws.
